This article inwards the today's NY Times discusses how musicians who play almost the site where John Lennon died accept had problem managing the mutual resources of a strategically placed commons bench. Currently, however, they accept worked out an informal organisation that appears to run well. The article reminded me of the run of Elinor Ostrom, who was awarded the Nobel Prize inwards role for her run on self-governance of the commons.
